Huntingdon Electric Motor Service, Inc. (HEMS) was founded in the state of Pennsylvania in 1969, as a business specializing in the repair, maintenance, manufacture and sale of electrical apparatus, together with associated products and services. HEMS is a responsible company that practices good business ethics while striving to maintain the highest quality of product at a fair price and maintaining our excellent performance record.

        HEMS founders have worked directly with such companies as General Electric (GE), Westinghouse, Baldor, and National Electric Carbon Products Corporation (NECP) to provide customers with the best name brand and quality products. We are specialists in new and remanufactured motors, carrying a large computerized inventory of industrial AC. motors, DC. motors, coils, generators and associated components.
        We work hard to ensure that we are responsive to both our existing customer's and our potential customer's needs. This awareness and attention to detail extends from our first point of contact, the Sales Department through the Workshop, Delivery, Billing and on to continued customer support.
        We are on call 24 hours a day to provide emergency repair and sales services to all of our customers. We repair motors from 5 to 5000 Hp.. Using either our computerized winders or more traditional methods, we can efficiently manufacture new coils or remanufacture existing units. We have the capability to redesign and manufacture coils to a customer's specifications or to data recommended by ourselves to meet a required upgrade. You can feel confident in the quality of our remanufactured equipment because in the extremely unusual event of a unit failure we back our two year warranty with prompt remedial actions. Export packaging and load testing are done in house and available upon request.
        HEMS has been an authorized distributor of GE and NECP motor parts, generator parts and related accessories since 1989, and a distributor for Homewood Products Corporation (formerly Westinghouse Renewal Parts) since 1995. Our parts distribution center, via our direct link with General Electric computer networking, is able to quote cost and delivery information to the customer in some cases while they wait.
        HEMS has a wide range of products and services to satisfy the needs of a broad range of government agencies and industrial customers. The client base of Huntingdon Electric Motor Service is international and diversified. We are happy to provide references upon request.
